Meet
Alice

“I am a funny, generous writer who falls prey to the many adventures my brain takes me on. This changes daily.”
Always a Writer
Like many shy children, Alice lost herself in literature at a young age. She quickly found, even in elementary school, that she could use writing as her primary form of communication. One of her early teachers praised her dry British wit, which was the most thrilling compliment a ten-year-old could ever receive. She was delighted and still brags about it.
As an adult, Alice’s work is inspired by history, kindness, and unexpected thoughts that her brain latches onto and refuses to let go of. Spending time among friends is hugely inspiring, especially her left-of-center counterparts. Being an introvert, every social activity requires many hours of solitude and dog snuggles for recovery. She’s sure you can understand.
Alice’s goal is for her audience to enjoy the eclectic nature of her brand, whether it’s writing, woodworking, or dog massage. No matter what, she works to be sure she’s always welcoming and inclusive.
A Supportive Network
Like most writers, Alice knows she couldn’t have gotten where she is without the support of her community. She’s grateful to Salesforce Military (Vetforce) for providing training to help her throughout her career and is always happy to connect with other nerds and military spouses in Norfolk, Virginia.
Alice also couldn’t have done any of this without her favorite people in the world—her siblings, Meghan, Katie, and Pete. Of course, she couldn’t forget Ollie, who is the most infuriatingly intelligent, stubborn, demon dog. It takes a village (and sometimes a canine or two).
